Labor Fundamentals: Stages & How to Pack Your Hospital Bag
Hosted by Canopie Specialist
Understanding the stages of childbirth is a great way for us to move through the experience with more confidence and self-compassion. While no two births are the same, the journeys our bodies take through labor are physiologically headed in the same direction with the same goal: to meet your little one safely and in the amount of time that's right for your body.
Our expert doula will guide us through a breakdown of labor, covering what happens in every stage, what the stages might feel like, and how we can stay mentally present through it all. We will also discuss hospital bag necessities and how you can make your birthing space feel the most comfortable and safe.

Sleep directly affects our mood, and when we are deprived of it, we can feel irritable, angry, sad, and more reactionary than normal. In fact, sleep can be the number one thing with which expecting and new moms struggle most. So it's no surprise that sleep is an indicator for nearly all maternal mental health issues.
In this class, you will learn how to get better, more restorative sleep in pregnancy and postpartum, plus how to understand and approach newborn sleep. You'll have plenty of time to ask your personal questions for better snoozes.
